Cami and Zach met in the way they both pictured to meet their forever person... at church. They met at their church's young adult group on a Friday night in August 2021. Zach had already been attending these young adult gatherings for some time, however the day they first met was Cami's first time attending, and well clearly the rest was history... They instantly bonded over their faith and common careers in the nursing field. Zach was an infusion nurse at at the time and Cami was mid way through nursing school, aspiring to be in the obgyn specialty after graduation. The following weeks after they met they found each other on social media and continued to chat until things got a bit more serious... he asked her out on a date. They talked for hours at a coffee shop in downtown Houston, they chatted over their love for Christ, nursing and cats. They were going on dates as friends until things were official on October 23, 2021.

Our story has not always been full of rainbows and butterflies but we would not change a single detail about it. As the years passed our love for each other grew stronger as we encountered various hardships. Between finding time to see each other while one of us was working full time and the other was wrapping up school, to supporting each other in the midst of loss and grief. We continued to press forward and seek the Lord for direction, and the Lord was faithful and blessed our relationship. In every season we continue to learn more about each others changing and constant love languages. Over the years we've enjoyed doing various activities together like pot gardening, horse back riding, cooking, pottery as well as simple things like bible studies and coffee dates! We cannot wait to celebrate our love and marriage with our family and friends!
